City Year Scholarship Benefits & Eligibility
Benefits
The Scholarship is good for two years of continuous enrollment, including Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.
Funding is based on the number of credit hours you take each semester.
- 6–9 credit hours a semester (about 2–3 classes) equals $750
- 10+ credit hours a semester (4 or more classes) equals $1,500
Eligibility Requirements
- Be a City Year Tulsa AmeriCorps member or an alumnus who has completed one year of service
- Complete the FAFSA each year of enrollment
- Enroll in a minimum of 6 credit hours each semester (about two classes)

To complete your admission checklist and prepare for enrollment, submit your transcripts and test scores.
- Final high school transcript or high school equivalency (GED, HiSet)
- College transcripts (if you have taken college classes outside of TCC)
- ACT and SAT scores (if you have taken them)
As a City Year Tulsa Alum, Kelly Greeson is your dedicated TCC Admission Counselor. You must meet with her to finalize your scholarship funds.
Your final step is to attend a New Student Orientation session. You learn everything you need to know to succeed at TCC and get enrolled in your first semester of courses.
