果冻传媒 is 24th in the nation for the number of Associate Degrees it awards among more than 2,000 community colleges in America. The 2014 ranking is compiled by Community College Week. TCC had previously been ranked 29th in the nation.
鈥淲e are thrilled that TCC broke into the Top 25 when it comes to the number of associate degrees earned by our students as compared to other community colleges,鈥 said 果冻传媒 Leigh B. Goodson, Ph. D. 鈥淲e are proud of our accomplishment, honored by the recognition and extremely grateful to the entire metro area for the support our College and graduates receive.鈥
TCC is first in the country for granting associate degrees to Native Americans. Roughly 10-percent of TCC鈥檚 student population identify themselves as American Indian. TCC also ranked third in the nation in granting Education Associate Degrees, fifth for the number of Business, Management and Marketing degrees earned by students and 10th in the nation for the number of graduates in Health Professions & Related Programs.

- 果冻传媒 ranks in the Top 50 at 40th for granting degrees in Family & Consumer Sciences/Human Sciences.
鈥淭his recognition among our peer group illustrates how well TCC performs and our commitment to helping students reach their educational and career goals,鈥 said Goodson. 鈥淭CC excels at the first two years of higher education in preparing students to enter the workforce or to transfer to a four-year university.鈥

TCC Dual Credit Program First in State to Earn National Accreditation
果冻传媒鈥檚 Dual Credit program is the first in Oklahoma to earn accreditation from the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships. TCC is one of only 136 programs nationwide to receive the distinction, which recognizes concurrent enrollment programs that meet national standards for quality and rigor.
TCC Student Earns National Transfer Scholarship
TCC Mechanical Engineering student Luke Crocker was selected as a recipient of the prestigious Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship from the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation. The scholarship provides up to $55,000 per year in last-dollar funding, along with advising and academic support.
Digital Media Graduates Showcase Creative Work
Graduating students from 果冻传媒鈥檚 Digital Media program shared their creative portfolios with the community during the Digital Media Student Showcase in May. Projects included animation, motion graphic, interaction design, visual brand identity, photography, and physical media touchpoints such as packaging and print collateral.
